Violence between young rappers

On September 4th, young Chicago rapper Lil JoJo was shot and killed in Inglewood after tweeting his location allegedly by rapper Chief Keef. Both teens are natives of Chicago and the shooting is rumored to be gang related from an on going beef between the two. Lil JoJo was an upcoming Chicago rapper while Chief Keef gained his fame from hit song "Don't Like" originally his track, and fellow Chicago Native Kanye West remixed it and brought it to a whole other level. After Chief Keef was handed millions from signing a record deal, Lil JoJo spoke more on guns and violence, and his mom stated, "That's what he felt he needed to do to make it." Sadly this is the reality in many cases where young rappers feel as though they need to prove that they are harder than their competitor in any aspect of life. When feuds like this develop, unfortunately things are not resolved in a kind manner. In a Chief Keef song posted below he states, "We ain't really for that talkin b*tch we bout that action!"

The first video is a news clip of rapper Rhymfest speaking on the violence in rap and a brief interview from Lil JoJo's mother.

The next video is one of Chief Keefs songs called 'Traffic'
